Auras: The Light of Truth

 I have seen this question asked time and time again : Are auras real? Or, What color are auras?

Question 1:  Are auras real?    YES. The are real and they are part of EVERYTHING. Natural and man-made.  Yes I know.  I have stirred up a bees nest of Ifs, Ands, and Buts but let me explain.

First, you know, or should at least realize that everything and everyone is made up of energy moving at different speeds.  The different rates of speed effects how we see or perceive the world around us( the slower the speed, the more solid the object appears). But I am getting off the subject.....Auras are the light that extends anywhere from 3 to 6 inches, give or take, from the body of the person, plant, animal, or object.  Now some of you are arre probably sitting there saying, " Objects have auras?  I don't believe it. "   That is your right to believe or not but objects do have auras.  Objects collect a little piece of the energy of the person who touches it. All these little pieces come together to form the aura of the object.  Plant and animals are, just like us, born with auras. Now getting back to  the main thought stream.....

Auras arae the energy that surrounds us.  Your aura can and will tell you alot about its person.  Now not all people can see auras and some are born with the ability. I use the word 'ability' because seeing auras can, just like any other ability, be learned. And just like anything worth learning, it takes time and patience.  To some it will be a short wait. To others, it might take months.  You just have to keep at it.( You did not learn to walk overnight did you?) The key to seeing auras, in my opinion, is to be patient, relaxed, and do not expect to see anything.

#1  Patient - Do not push yourself into seeing auras.  Seeing happens when you least expect it.

#2  Relax - The power you need to see auras will not come to you if you are tense.  Tension prohibits the flow of energy.

#3  Do not expect to see auras on the first try. If you do GREAT! If you don't, do not give up. Keep trying. The ability will come in time.

Now to the good stuff: How to see auras.  First let me say that I have been studying and practicing witchcraft and wizardry  (there is a difference) for almost 4 years now and I am STILL learning.  In the world of The Craft, Path of the Wise, or whatever word you chose to call it, you ALWAYS are learning and anyony that says that they know it all, knows very little.  Now on to the lesson.

Find someplace that you will not be disturb for at least 15 minutes, ( unplug phones, lock doors, turn music,  if you wish to listen to it,  down to barely audiable). Next, find a space on you wall that is not obstructed with pictures or has bright colors.  If this part is unattainable, tack a white sheet up on your wall.  Remember, this is only to start you out.  Sooner or later you will be able to see auras in a crowed store or anywhere you wish.   WORD OF CAUTION: To see auras you must look at the person or thing and some people will not know that you are trying to read their aura and think that you are just staring at them. Use your common sense .  Now, before you ask a friend to stand still, for 15 minutes or try to get an animal to do the same, try seeing a plants aura.  They, plants, are more cooperative then what people think but that is another blog, will stand still and will not move unless something moves them.  Set the plant in front of the sheet and put a chair in front of the plant.  You might have to put the plant on a table. Make sure that your lightsource is behind you so not to cast shadows and cause distractions.  Then, sit comfortably in the chair, take three deep breaths and RELAX.  Next look at the top of the plant. Stare at the top. (do not strain your eyes, it is okay to blink)  Soon you will see a color appear around the plant. DO NOT GET EXCITED for this will break your concentration and you will have to start over.  With practice, you will be able to see auras faster.  As for the colors of the auras, that just depends on who you ask.  For more information on auras you can try this website - http://www.crystalinks.com                  Blessed be
